WCS experienced explosive growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. A seasoned marketing leader and strategiest was needed to leverage this growth by solidifying the market position, elevating the brand presence and position, and expanding marketing reach after extensive growth.

THE GOAL

The primary objective was to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan and build a performance-based marketing team.

THE WORK

As Fractional Marketing Manager for West Coast Seeds, Elizabeth managed the following key initiatives and projects:

  • Comprehensive Rebrand Project: Managed a complete rebrand, including agency vetting and selection, project scope, timelines and engagement process. Rolled out the resulting brand across all marketing channels, platforms and touchpoints.

  • Brand Management: Managing digital, in-market, and print brand touchpoints, including developing the iconic annual Growing Guide.

  • Team Management: Led the internal marketing team, managing workflows and execution of the marketing initiatives. Mentored staff members to help them transition into leadership roles within the organization.

  • Marketing Management: Participated in management, planning, and strategic meetings to establish marketing alignment with overall business goals. Oversaw execution of marketing initiatives and managing budgets.
