River Valley Estates

River Valley Estates is a rapidly growing real estate development located in the East Kootenays, near the city of Cranbrook. The development will include single-family, custom and multi-family homes, and boasts riverfront access to the pristine St. Mary’s River. The unparalleled access to nature near the conveniences of a modern city makes this an ideal dwelling for retirees, young families and digital nomads. 

THE GOAL

In the early stages of Phase 1 Sales, a digital presence was needed for communication and sales purposes. The resulting website needed to be optimized for search and lead generation, with strong video assets required to create a dynamic and storytelling approach. 

THE WORK

Conceptual drawings and an aspirational logo had been created by an artist-designer. This visual inspiration was the jumping-off point for the creative development of the website. Copy, wireframing, design, and development were all needed to bring this vision to life digitally. 

Elizabeth retained and managed a website designer and developer, a copywriter, and a local videographer to create the assets required. She stickhandled every aspect of the project from initial discovery to written content development to preliminary design concept to development and final feedback. Elizabeth also sourced and screened local videographers to create a shortlist for the client to select the successful candidate, and worked closely with that person on creative concept development for video assets.  

THE RESULTS

The website captured the inspirational conceptual drawing and included optimized copywriting, strong lead generation tools including forms and calls to action, organic search-optimized development and the use of video to create an evocative, storytelling approach.
